★ Dounan Flower Market in Yunnan Strengthens Its Position
- Auction bids are now completed in just 0.6 seconds.
- Average prices for major cut flower categories reached 1.1 to 1.3 yuan per stem, approximately 15% higher than before the event.
- Premium flowers achieved significantly higher prices, with high-quality roses reaching approximately 15 yuan (US$2.23) per stem.
- In 2025, Dounan recorded a trading volume of 15.476 billion stems and a total transaction value of 13.484 billion yuan (approximately US$2 billion)

The market is currently home to approximately 3,300 companies and more than 15,000 business entities and individual operators. Of Dounan’s permanent population of around 70,000 people, approximately 46,500 are engaged in the flower industry.
Around 10% of all fresh cut flowers sold in China originate from Dounan. Its distribution network now extends throughout China and reaches markets in more than 50 countries and regions worldwide.
For comparison, Royal FloraHolland’s turnover in 2025 was approximately €5.4 billion.
