9月9日重陽の節供に先立ち、シロギクの精霊「白玖（はく）」が誕生しました。
プロデュースは「大田花き花の生活研究所 勝手にシロギク応援団」です。
白玖（はく）はシロギクの知られざる魅力を伝える伝道師。伸長172cm、誕生日は9月9日です。静かで凛としたたずまいの中に、やさしさと芯の強さを秘めるまさにシロギクの化身です。
白玖はシロギクを、
「一輪で絵になる」
「どんな花にもなじむ」
「和にも洋にも調和する」
「長く楽しめる」
「染めても綺麗」
「アートが作れる」
「シロギクにしかできないことがある」
と魅力を語っています。

Meet Haku, the Spirit of the White Chrysanthemum
Hello from OTA Floriculture research Insutitute in TOKYO!
Ahead of Choyo no Sekku (the Double Ninth Festival) on September 9, we are delighted to introduce Haku, the Spirit of the White Chrysanthemum.
This character was created by the “Unofficial White Chrysanthemum Support Team” of the Ota Floriculture Research Institute.
Haku is an ambassador dedicated to sharing the often-overlooked beauty of the white chrysanthemum. Standing 172 cm tall and born on September 9, Haku embodies the flower itself: calm and dignified on the outside, yet gentle and strong at heart.
According to Haku, the white chrysanthemum is special because it is:
- Beautiful even as a single stem
- Easy to combine with any flower
- At home in both Japanese and Western floral designs
- Long-lasting and enjoyable for many days
- Stunning when dyed in different colors
- A perfect medium for floral art
And above all:
“There are things only a white chrysanthemum can do.”
